Ingredients
- 2 - 4 Ripe Mangoes (If large 2, if small 4.)
- 1 - 2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Raw Almonds
- 2 - 4 tablespoons Sugar (Or sugar substitute)
- 2 cups Ice Cubes
Optional
- 1 Apple (Cored and chopped or sliced)
- 1 cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- 1/2 - 1 scoop Protein Powder (about 2 - 4 tablespoons)
Note
Options:
1) If you cannot take sugar, use a sugar substitute.
2) You can have the fruits peeled or unpeeled. It depends on how healthy or smooth you want the drink to be.
3) If you want the drink very smooth, you can soak the almonds in warm water for a few hours, peel the skin off, and then blend along with the rest of the ingredients.
4) You can substitute milk with almond milk, soy milk or water.
5) I used flavor-free, sucralose-free, fine protein powder. But if you like, you can use vanilla flavored protein powder. If it has sucralose too, (or some kind of sugar substitute), don't add any further sugar or sugar substitute, unless you want it that sweet.
