This is a refreshing blend of fruits and nuts that makes it tasty and healthy. It is very easy to make, and if you add protein powder to it, you have a small but healthy breakfast on the run.

Ingredients

  • 1 Honeydew Melon
  • 2 Small Apples (peeled, cored and cut into chunks.)
  • 1/2 - 1 cup Walnuts
  • 2 cups Ice Cubes
  • 1 cup Pineapple chunks (Fresh, or canned in its own juice)
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Milk

Optional

  • 2 - 4 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 scoops Protein Powder
  • 1 cup Yoghurt

Note

Serving Suggestions:

1) Serve cold.

Options:

1) If you are diabetic or don't want to take any sugar, add a sugar substitute instead of the sugar, or don't add anything at all.
2) If you are Vegan, skip the milk and yoghurt. Instead add one cup or more of Almond milk, or water.

Directions

Step 1

Remove the rind of the melon, the outer skin. Scoop out the seeds with a tiny spoon, until the inner fruit is smooth. Cut it into chunks.

Step 2

Place the melon, apple, pineapple, walnuts, milk, almond milk, and sugar in a large blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

Step 3
Add the yoghurt and protein powder. Blend until mixed thoroughly.
Step 4
Add the ice cubes. Blend again.
Step 5
Pour into tall glasses. Garnish with a mint leaf. Serve cold.
