My recipe creates this dish without the hullabaloo that the usual recipes of other people have. Veggies and spices are used in a wholesome, healthy manner, but it has beautiful color, wonderful flavor and great taste.
Place a medium non-stick frypan on medium heat.
Add 1 tablespoon oil. When oil is hot, add the cheese cubes. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt evenly. Stir fry until cheese cubes are golden brown. Do not burn them. Transfer the contents to a bowl and set aside.
Add 1 tablespoon oil to the frypan. Add the onion. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add garlic, bell pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add turmeric and other spices. Cook for 5 minutes or until the veggies are cooked.
Add the chopped tomatoes. Stir fry for a minute.
In a small bowl, add a tbsp of water to the tomato paste. Mix. Add this to the frypan and cook for 1 minute.
Add the stir-fried paneer to the frypan. If you like, add the cilantro too. Mix thoroughly.
Serve hot.
