Fruits Nuts Medley Shake

This is a refreshing blend of fruits and nuts that makes it tasty and healthy. It is very easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 Honeydew Melon
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 cup Pineapple Chunks canned
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 4 tbsp Sugar or equivalent sugar substitute
  • 1 cup Yoghurt plain
  • 2 scoops Protein Powder optional
  • 2 cups Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. Remove the rind of the melon, the outer skin. Scoop out the seeds with a tiny spoon, until the inner fruit is smooth. Cut it into chunks.

  2. Core the apple. Peel and cut into chunks.

  3. Place the melon, apple, pineapple, walnuts, milk, almond milk, and sugar in a large blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

  4. Add the yoghurt and protein powder to the blender. Add more sugar or sweetener if you like. Blend until mixed thoroughly.

  5. Add the ice cubes. Blend again.

  6. Pour into tall glasses. Garnish with a mint leaf. Serve cold.

Recipe Notes

Serving Suggestions:

1) Serve cold.

Options:

1) If you are diabetic or don't want to take any sugar, add a sugar substitute instead of the sugar, or don't add anything at all.
2) If you are Vegan, skip the milk and yoghurt. Instead add one cup or more of Almond milk, or water.
