Sometimes, when a light lunch is preferred, here is a recipe that you may like. This recipe can be as bland or as spicy as you like.
The veggie burger patties should be cooked until they look golden brown on both sides. The steps are as follows.
Place a non-stick frypan on medium heat. Spray or spread 1 tbsp cooking oil all over the frypan.
Place the 2 veggie burger patties side by side on the frypan over the oiled surface. The bottom surface of the patties should now be thoroughly covered by oil.
Cook for 1 minute. The patties should not burn. If necessary, lower the heat.
Spray or Place a tbsp of oil on top of the patties. Spread it.
Using a flat non-stick spatula, carefully turn the patties over. Don't break the patties. Cook for 1 minute.
Most burger patties come salted. If they are not salted, sprinkle a little salt on top.
If you like it spicy, sprinkle a pinch of cayenne pepper or black pepper on top of the patties.
Carefully turn the patties over. Cook for 1 more minute.
Cook the patties until cooked and golden brown. Do not overcook.
Remove the patties and place them aside on a plate.
Prepare the other two patties too following the previous steps shown above.
On a platter, place the veggies. Sprinkle salt and a tbsp of oil on top of the veggies.
On a serving plate, place two veggie burger patties. Top them with 2 cheese slices, tomato, onion, cucumber and avocado slices.
Do the same on another serving plate using the other two patties, if serving two people.
Serve immediately.
