Easy Delicious Veggie Sandwich
A Sandwich recipe may not sound very exciting. However, when we get involved in other new or attractive dishes, we may forget the Old Reliable, which can be very tasty and definitely healthy. It is immensely helpful as a light lunch too. And this recipe has a couple of ingredients that add a little twist to a monotonous, well-known sandwich. The truth is, when all other things fail, the good old Sandwich comes to the rescue.

Ingredients
- 2 Slices Sourdough Bread (or wheat, rye etc.)
- 2 Slices Cheese (provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, spicy jack, swiss, havarti)
- 1 thin slice Red Onion
- 1 leaf Leaf Lettuce (or romaine, iceberg etc.)
- 1 Tomato (thinly sliced)
- 8 thin slices Cucumber (peeled. If thin skin, need not be peeled.)
- 2 Slices Pickles (marinated cucumber slices, sold in grocery stores)
- 2 long tooth picks
Optional
- 1 teaspoon Vegan Mayonnaise (or margarine)
- 1 teaspoon Deli Dressing (containing basil, olive oil etc.)
- Sliced Marinated Jalapenos (sold in grocery stores, tamed or hot)
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red Peppers
