Delightful Mixed Fruit Smoothie
A few fresh fruits, some kind(s) of milk, ice cubes, a little sugar for those with a sweet tooth, a little aromatic spice for the adventurous ones, perhaps a mildly flavored protein powder for the health conscious or those on the run…blend them all together, and Voila! you got yourself a delightful, refreshing smoothie. Ingredients
- 1 Ripe Soft Mango (cut into chunks)
- 2 cups Fresh Pineapple (cut into chunks)
- 1 Ripe Banana (cut into chunks)
- 6 - 8 Strawberries (trimmed)
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Sugar (or sugar substitute)
- 2 cups Ice Cubes
Optional
- 1/2 cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup Flaxseed Milk
- 1/2 cup Coconut Milk (with natural flavor or flavorless)
- 1 tablespoon Protein Powder (unflavored or vanilla flavored)
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
Note
Serving Suggestions:
1) Serve cold, if possible immediately after making it.
2) If you add protein powder, serve immediately.
3) Serve preferably in tall glasses with a straw.
Options:
1) If you are Vegan, just use coconut milk, and/or almond milk and/or flaxseed milk.
2) Increase or decrease the amounts of fruits as you prefer.
3) If the mangoes are thin skinned, you don't have to peel the skin.
4) If you like some more flavor, you can add cardamom powder or nutmeg.
